Pune plant has already commisioned. Primarily to serve customers in and around Pune, MMPL will also set up Green Sand reclamation plant along with resin coated sand facility. This plant will be able to reclaim used foundry Green Sand and any other used sand and convert it into useful sand through specifically designed Green Sand reclamation process. Thus it will be an important plant with respect to maintaining environmental balance and will help the customers immensely. Some of the environmental and conservation related benefits will be:

1. 95% of the used sand will be recoverable thus only 18% addition of fresh sand
2. Will help in conserving the mineral wealth of country
3. It will help environmental management plan of customers
4. First of such plant in India which can reclaim any used sand and upgrade it to Cold Box Useable Standard
